Cumin Garlic Preserved Lemon is seafood’s loyal companion and a fan of Asian-inspired dishes. It’s perfect with miso and sesame oil and as a rub for fish. Its lower acidity means it doesn’t “cook” seafood, making it a favorite among fishmongers. Rub 1 teaspoon per serving on raw seafood and marinate for up to 24 hours before cooking.

We make Cumin Garlic Preserved Lemon by curing citrus from organic, family-owned California farms with salt, cumin and pickled garlic for up to three years before puréeing into a paste.

Due to the natural curing process, you may notice color variations from yellow to amber. This is normal and does not impact the flavor or quality.

Usage Tips

Garlic Cumin Lemon Paste

I am a real fan of Ponzu with added goodies for dipping my handheld or chopstick held Asian treat of Sushi, sashimi and rolls. Making it with IF & When's Ponzu recipe, it was way better. It perhaps would also make a great, very tasty light dressing for a tomato and cucumber salad before attacking the sushi.
