Winter Margarita

Creamy coconut and warm cinnamon are jolted out of their winter slumber by our Moroccan Preserved Meyer Lemon. The trick: taste as you go. The citrus in the Moroccan blend is infused with cinnamon during the salt-curing process, so layer this spice in the ingredients to your taste.  

Need

1.5 oz tequila

1 oz coconut milk

1 oz coconut water

.5 oz orange liqueur such as Cointreau

1/2 TBS If & When Moroccan Preserved Meyer Lemon Paste

1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

Lots of ice 

Cinnamon stick (garnish)

 

For the rim, combine:

Sugar

Cinnamon

Moroccan Preserved Meyer Lemon (binding agent)

Do

Rim the glass: Mix sugar and cinnamon on a plate. Lightly brush the rim with a tiny bit of If & When and dip into the cinnamon-sugar mix. Fill the glass with ice.

Mix the margarita: Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously until cold, creamy and the cinnamon is fully dispersed.

Strain or pour over ice into your prepared glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick

Serve and enjoy!
