A good aioli goes a long way. This preserved Meyer lemon and dill version, made for If & When by J.J. Willis at Osprey Seafood Market in Napa, is a great accompaniment to fish or crispy baked potatoes. Slather it on a burger or serve as a dip for freshly cooked shrimp or steamed artichokes.
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
2 TBS fresh dill
2 TBS If & When Cumin Garlic Preserved Meyer Lemon Paste
Juice from 1/2 Meyer lemon (standard lemon is okay)
Dash of garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine ingredients in a bowl until blended. Chill until serving.
